this is a fandom journal - it was originally just Harry Potter but I have a wide range of insanity interests, so comic books, Torchwood/Doctor Who and various other craziness will be found here henceforth. Past material can be accessed via the tags.
Potter-wise: I've been a fan since summer 1999, originally solely shipping Ron/Hermione (and Hannah/Neville, bizarrely) but adding more things to my repertoire as time went by. I do go through phases where HP is pretty much my life... as evidenced by my wizard rock bands.
Doctor Who and Torchwood: my dad's a big Who fan so I got into it that way. The first Doctor I saw on the television was John Pertwee (Three) thanks to the wonders of repeats, but I love New Who to bits as well, and Torchwood (despite its various flaws) owns my soul.
Other things: Batman, Neil Gaiman stuff, Diana Wynne Jones, Phillip Pullman, it will all become clear.
Warning: this livejournal contains blatant Slytherin sympathising, both kinds of wonderful slash, yelling at the Marauders even though I love 'em, everyone in Torchwood alternately angsting, fighting and making out, constant musings about Snape and Lily, "Herons" (???) and graffiti. I previously claimed it would never contain m-preg, but with Captain Jack Harkness anything is possible so who knows...
